This laboratory focuses on teaching network monitoring technologies and their applications in power monitoring, energy management, equipment management, and automation control. The core courses offered include Network Monitoring Technology and Monitoring System Design and Practice.
The monitoring infrastructure consists of PAC and PLC controllers with corresponding I/O modules, while PC-based host computers serve as the central control units. To enhance hands-on learning and real-time monitoring effectiveness, the laboratory has independently developed a series of customized training platforms, including:
Laboratory Energy Monitoring and Management System
Smart Meter Remote Communication Training Device
Distributed Network and Wireless Monitoring Training Device
Substation Automation System
Industrial Power Distribution Monitoring System
Campus Power System One-Line Diagram and Campus Layout Monitoring Board
Distributed Power Monitoring Simulation System
Process Equipment Monitoring Simulation and Teaching Platform
In addition, the laboratory has developed its own teaching materials, all of which have been digitized and uploaded to the e-learning platform to enhance both teaching effectiveness and learning quality.
