This laboratory provides hands-on training in various power electronics topics, including:
Measurement of power semiconductor devices
Use of circuit simulation software
Rectifier circuit experiments
DC chopper experiments
Non-isolated switching power supply experiments
Isolated switching power supply experiments
Electronic ballast experiments
Converter experiments
The laboratory is equipped with a variety of professional instruments, including digital storage oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, power supplies, Hall effect current probes, and power waveform analyzers.
In addition, a Level B Technician Certification Test Station for Power Electronics has been installed in the lab. The laboratory also offers certification guidance and hands-on training during the winter break to support students in obtaining professional licenses.
